Baby Soft Skin

So I got to admit that I used to be lazy when it came to taking care of my skin. I would take a shower, dry my skin, put a little bit of lotion and get dressed. WHAT WAS I THINKING??? I didn't see a problem with this because my skin was never dry, but I didn't know what soft was!...Anyway after some research I found my miracle products, and now I can proudly say my skin feels really soft :)

So what do you do????

1. EXFOLIATE.
You want to make sure you get rid of your death skin cells. This will help your skin feel soft, and it will also prevent ingrown hairs after shavings. Exfoliating three times a week is enough. If you do it everyday, you will get rid of the good skin cells, and your skin will become dry.

I use Coconut Body Scrub from The Body Shop. It is $18, but they always have sales going on.

2.LOCK MOISTURE
As soon as I get out of the shower, when my skin still wet, I apply Johnson's Baby oil all over my skin, and let it air dry. Make sure not to apply too much, because you will end up leaving oil spots everywhere :). I think this is about $4 in any drug store.

3. MORE MOISTURE
Once my skin is dry I apply lotion all over my body, and that is it. You also want to keep your skin moisturized by putting lotion before getting dressed in the morning.
I use the St. Ives Naturally Indulgent Body Moisturizer with Coconut Milk and Orchid extract. It smells delicious and it is only about $4.

I promise you that after one month of following this routine, you will receive many compliments from your better half :)
